      Welcome to YellowTAXIblog.com

I am a NYC yellow taxi driver who wants to create a blog site for the taxi drivers where taxi drivers will be able to express their views and share their stories. This blog is for everyone who wants to say something about the taxi drivers whether it is a complaint or a complement or a suggestion. I will protect the identity of the taxi drivers so that they can feel free without exposing themselves to the NYPD and TLC. I will help other taxi drivers in any way possible. Please give me information, I will make sure that the information will be published. Thanks for your support. Together we will fight against all kinds of injustice...

Thanks for visiting YellowTAXIblog.com

Wow after a long time I got to see that..the crimes against the Taxi drivers especially Yellow Taxi drivers are down so we don’t hear similar stories lately. While I was driving the people in the rush hour today..I heard the 1010 am news and want to know what happened..I came home and found the story in the internet. I really did not write anything else about the news rather copied and pasted from www.Northjersey.com. Read more »

Love is a beautiful thing…

Love is really a beautiful thing

Love is really a beautiful thing

An  unbelievable thing happened yesterday. It was around 7 am and I was cruising  on Broadway  in 90s. At  93rd and Broadway I stopped  and a young girl stepped in my cab with a small bag and wanted to go to JFK airport. I was very happy to go there as I could bring another  passenger back by 10 o clock. So while I was fixing my rear view mirror I saw her face and I was sure that she was crying and she did not sleep last night. Read more »

Yesterday, the Taxi and Limousine Commission voted 7-1 to put some new lights on the yellow machines that grace our streets. And they will only include two options: medallion light on, medallion light off.

No more ‘off duty’ sign taxis put on. Under the new rules, that ‘off duty’ light will be banned. In my opinion this will not make any difference whether we will accept any passenger or not. See most passengers are with us for any new change and sometimes changes are good even I would say sometimes change is even better. Read more »

The London 2012 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony

Closing Ceremony of London Olympic, 2012

Dear Friends,
How many of you really like the Closing Ceremony of the London Olympic..? I know I did not like that much…sure the fireworks was spectacular but overall it was not even close to the Beijing Olympic 4 years before in China. I think China spoiled us for a very long time and it will be very hard for any other country to replicate it. Read more »

The London Olympic 2012, The Games of the XXX Olympiad

The Opening Ceremony of London Olympic, 2012

Dear Friends,
Today while I was watching the opening ceremony of London Olympic 2012, it jut crossed my mind that this ceremony is not as gorgeous as the last one which is the Beijing Olympic in 2008. The only part I really liked is where the Olympic logo goes up in the air and all the fireworks coming downwards. I was not taken aback by the poor quality of the opening ceremony. Anyway, let me tell you some fact about this Olympic.
According to the Wikipedia,”London hosted the Olympic Games in 1908 and 1948, and is hosting a third in 2012. The 2012 Summer Olympics make London the first city to have hosted the modern Games of three Olympiads. London is the only city in the United Kingdom to have ever hosted the Olympics; the United States is the only country to have hosted Summer Olympics on more occasions than the UK.”
