Today I read a small but very significant news in the New York Post. This is how the news was written…

“City lawsuit tab: $520M”

“The city paid $520.6 million in personal-injury and property-damage settlements in the 2010 fiscal year, 7 percent less than the previous year, Comptroller John Liu reported yesterday.
Three agencies accounted for 67 percent of the total: the NYPD, the Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Transportation Department.
Liu said the $135.3 million in payouts connected to the NYPD surpassed the hospital system’s $134.9 million, the first time that’s happened in 30 years.
City officials noted that the overall trend was positive — down 12 percent since 2001.”

So lets do a math…35000 Police and $135.3 million..lets divide $135300000 by 35000..that gives me $3866 dollars per Police. so just to have one Police the city has to pay an extra $3866 on top of the high salary and so called bribed Overtime money..On the other hand how many Yellow Cab Drivers we have in New York City..? It says more than 50,000 and how many passengers did we carry last year..? more than 250 million..that’s more than quarter Billion passengers…and how many complaints..? Last time I checked it was only about 1800… so there you go friends..YOU make your own conclusion.
I want to ask our Not so beloved Mayor Bloomberg…How many Millions have your city spent for one cab driver..? Not even a Penny SIR..On the other hand how many millions did your over jealous, criminal (not all of them of course..but the number is very high in NYPD ..otherwise the bill would not be so high..) Police issue totally made up tickets…and destroyed so many of the taxi driver’s lives..?
So keeping this in mind I want to propose one thing..How about abolish the NYPD..? It will save billions of dollars from cop’s salary, health care, all the passes and so on..if it does not save anything it will at least save $135.3 million dollars. What do you say my friends..?
