      Welcome to YellowTAXIblog.com

I am a NYC yellow taxi driver who wants to create a blog site for the taxi drivers where taxi drivers will be able to express their views and share their stories. This blog is for everyone who wants to say something about the taxi drivers whether it is a complaint or a complement or a suggestion. I will protect the identity of the taxi drivers so that they can feel free without exposing themselves to the NYPD and TLC. I will help other taxi drivers in any way possible. Please give me information, I will make sure that the information will be published. Thanks for your support. Together we will fight against all kinds of injustice...

Thanks for visiting YellowTAXIblog.com

This is my love story…Part 1

Dear Friends..
I know most people liked my writing so far..during the last six months I did write some of my thoughts. I am sure you will like these coming posts just like you liked my other posts so far. I published another blog called www.aloveblog.com . Please click the link to go to the site. But for one reason or another if you do not want to go to that site..I am cutting and pasting from that site to here and I am sure you will love the story.

Dear friends…This is a story which could have happened to anyone of us but I am lucky that it happened to me. So I will write the story in every detail possible. Please come back frequently to read the chapters and I am sure you will love to read my love story.

On Wednesday January 16, 1991 at around 4.30 p.m. Bangladeshi time I was at the Dhaka International Airport (it was then called Zia International Airport) to board a flight to Karachi by Pakistan International Airlines. I was coming back to New York from Bangladesh. The route was Dhaka to Karachi by PIA then Karachi to London via Baghdad (Capital of Iraq) by Iraqi Airways and then to New York by same Iraqi Airways.

So while I was in line to get my boarding pass, I felt someone tapped on my shoulder. I looked back and a young man apologized for tapping me and asked me if I am the one who was going to the USA. He told me that he was told by the airline that there was only one passenger going to the USA and if I was that passenger. I told him that I did not know about any other passenger but I was going to New York City. He seemed to be relieved knowing that.

So I asked him if I could help him anyway possible. He answered me that his sister was going to New York City for the first time to her husband and if I would be kind enough to help her during the journey. I assured him that I would take care of her during the long journey.
