When I finally woke up, she was not there. I still did not open my eyes…I started to extend my hand on the bed. I wanted to hold her ..I wanted to caress her. I finally opened my eyes. She was not there…I knocked the bathroom door and it was locked from inside…She came back after taking a shower…she opened the bathroom door…steam came out from the bathroom. It was cold inside the room so she had a hot shower. I was sure that was the first hot shower she ever had..
She came out looking fresh ..As if Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love just rose from the ocean, her hair was still wet. Water was dripping from her wet hair. Her complexion was glowing like morning sunshine. Her freshly washed skin of her face was looking like soft rose petal colored and…I fall in love over her all over again …I hold her both arms and brought back her inside the bathroom again..

I took the hair dryer from the wall and turned it on. I started to dry her hair. She looked directly to my eyes. The eyes said so many things…she smiled. I melted down like soft butter. I turned her side wise to dry her hair. Took the comb she brought in, she just embraced me … I said to her..” Go..before I take you to shower again..” She said,” When did I say no..?”
When I came out from bathroom after taking my shower and shave..She was already ready..She had a nice red dress on. I was really impressed by her sense of styling …” We went to the restaurant. This time we took the elevator to do downstairs..
After the breakfast we stopped by on the front desk for any new message about our flight and there was no news. It made me feel so good inside as that was the best news for me. That news guaranteed us to stay one more day in Oman…I looked at her. She seemed to be happy too.
I asked the front desk if there was a way to get the Taxi driver we took last night. The front desk personnel sent someone to get him from the taxi line in front of the hotel. He came back and told us that he was there waiting for us. I told her, “Let’s go and check the city out. We will do lunch outside.”
She held my hand tight. As if she was telling me that she would go anywhere with me…we took the taxi. The Taxi driver was pleased to see us. I asked him where we could go. He told us that there were so many places we could go..
We started through the same clean and specious highways towards Muscat City’s main areas. Muscat is the capital city of Oman. It is a very old city. The metropolitan area is 580 sq.miles. The rocky Western Al Hajar Mountains dominate the landscape of Muscat. The city lies on the Arabian Sea along the Gulf of Oman and is in the proximity of the strategic Straits of Hormuz.
Low-lying white buildings typify most of Muscat’s urban landscape, while the port-district of Muttrah, with its cornice and harbor, form the north-eastern periphery of the city. Muscat’s economy is dominated by trade, petroleum and porting.
The driver took us to see the palace of the King (In Arabic Kings are called The Sultans)..It was a great looking building. We could not go right in front of the palace for security reasons but the driver talked to the guards and they allowed us for 5 minutes just enough time to take some pictures.
I wanted to take some pictures of her but she told me that any photographs might cause problems to both of our lives and I was surprised to see her so matured and thoughtful. I never thought of that. That the photographs could cause trouble in my life too. I was sure my wife would not take those photographs easily if she ever saw the pictures..
So I asked her,” That means we would not have any kind of memory, years later if we think of each other..” She answered,” Don’t worry you will be in my memory. In my heart. I am sure I will be in your heart too.”
I pulled her towards me and put my hands around her hip, she whispered to my ear…” “Hoyeche..eto valobasha dekhate hobe na..janoto eta khoob conservative Muslim desh..Police a dhore niye jaabe..” in English…” Don’t have to show so much love outside, you know that it is a conservative Muslim country, Police will arrest us..”
I started to laugh. I asked her,” How did you know all that..?” She said, “It’s just a common sense. I read all those things about the Arabian world..” I said, “Smart, very smart..”
