Why are Europeans so cheap..?

Hi again..what an experience I had today ..actually 2 experiences…

I got a trip to Wall St. After dropping of the passenger I headed straight to Brooklyn  Cruise Terminal as I saw the Queen Mary docked  on the other side of Brooklyn from FDR  Drive. When I went there to my surprise there was not a single cab and a big line of people waiting in the Taxi line. The dispatcher was happy to see me and he told me  that he was giving me 2 separate fares as there was no cab. A gentleman from Portugal and a British Couple, who wanted to go to the nearest subway station as they have until  3 p.m. before they head back to the ship and go back to England. The dispatcher told  them to pay me by the meter plus  little tip and the Portugal gentleman will pay me separately.  I dropped the gentleman where he wanted to go and he paid me handsomely and I was very happy. Then I took the British Couple  to Dekalb Ave Subway station. They seemed to be very nice  and I was hoping that I  was wrong that all British are very cheap. I liked the couple. In fact he even told me that he went to my country about 10 years before for few days and he loved it.

But guess what he did with me. When I stopped he opened the door and just said thanks. I looked back he was already out of the cab and his wife was about to leave. I said, “ Sir, Madam  what about my money..?” It was already like $9 and change. He told me..”The other guy paid  and I saw how much he paid so it should cover your whole trip” I could not  believe my ears. I ran outside and told them to get back and pay me otherwise I will call Police. They got nervous and got back into my cab. Then I said in a very harsh tone,” Sit back and let me give you my world famous lecture I will not take any money  but you will have to listen what I say to you. How could you be so cheap and tried to play game ? How could you subject yourself of such a shameful situation.? I always knew that the British are the cheapest  people inh the planet and every time I try to give a British a benefit of doubt, the same person prove it  all over again. Let me tell you about a group of people. Every early morning I regularly get some Mexican restaurant  workers going to work. They work 16/17 hours a day for minimum wage. They send money to their families. The come home take a shower and wake up and many times they are late so they take cab to go faster. Those poor people always give a good tips. I don’t take any tip from them as they work harder than anyone but they have the decency to give me tips. But you guys who can afford a roundtrip cruise  in one of the most expensive ships and you tried to  stiff me of my hard earn $9.. I can’t  believe it. And man normally women are more ethical, honest than men then how come you also followed him.? Don’t you guys have any shame..? DO you know if I call Police, they will take you to Jail by arresting you.

? Imagine you are in the jail and the ship will leave you and tomorrow’s newspaper especially in The Daily News and The New York Post, those are basically Tabloid . will be the Cover story that  A British Couple was arrested for stiffing $9. Imagine that the embarrassment you two will bring for your country.”

After my world famous lecture they became so scared that he gave me a $10 bill and told me to keep the change..I broke into laughter  hahahaha..what am I going to do with you  two..? You know what take your damn bill and get the hell out of here. Just remember  a poor cab driver gave you a tip and please buy your wife a fake Rolex watch from Canal St/Chinatown.

I almost got a heart attack when he took the bill and left with his wife.

So the moral of the story..Never go to pick up any passenger from Queen Mary as more than 2600 mostly cheap British bastards are coming and they will try to defraud you in every chance they get.

What a shame..now I know how did they make their money..
