Dear Friends..I am sorry that I could not publish these beautiful pictures in the right time as I could not find these pictures in my computer. I took those pictures and then I had to change my phone because it was not working properly. I transferred these pictures to my desktop and forgot about it. But today I found these pictures and you will see how beautiful these pictures look during snow and at night with no snow.
It was such a strenuous morning I would never forget. After I came out of my warm bed I felt like going back home to my warm bed but could not do that because I had to make my rent. The month was almost ending but I had not made half the money I need for rent. My rent is $1406 dollars per month for a one bed room Apt. in Astoria. So no matter how much I wanted to go back, I simply could not.
I took my car out after cleaning the pile of snow and slowly started to come towards Manhattan. I took the lower roadway of Queens Borough Bridge and came straight to Park Ave and it was still snowing very hard. The roads were totally empty as there was not even a cab in my sight as far as I could see. All of a sudden I looked at these flowers..it looked so angelic..heavenly that I wanted to take some pictures. But I was not brave enough to get out of of my car and take a picture. I knew the pictures will not come well enough to print in my site as the flash will hit the falling snow and it will look not that clear. So I told myself to come back later.
I was almost the king of the road. In two hours of darkness I hardly saw 10 cabs working and that gave me an edge. I saw there were a lot of people still wanted to go the airport and was desperately looking for a cab. I picked up 4 friends who got stuck in the city to the airport and slowly started to drive. They were nice people but did not tip me as much as I thought. They paid me the fare and an additional $5 and I was kind of disappointed because it took me more than an hour and half to take them to LGA Airport.
Few of the driver told me that they are asking flat rate but I could not do that as that would not be right for me.
So when I came back it was already daylight. Snow started to tapper off so I stopped my cab and took these pictures from different blocks of Park Ave. The flowers were looking so beautiful that it seemed to me that if there is flower in the heaven…then the sight will not be more beautiful than these. White snow on top of the flowers made the flower look like White angels bloomed on Park Ave. I will never forget the beauty of these flower.
Same flower looked differently to me last week. I was again on the Park Ave and it was early morning. The whole Park Ave was empty and these flowers were looking so beautiful that I just could not resist taking these pictures. I also remembered about the heavenly pictures I took last December 26th, I thought it would be a nice blog comparing the photos.
Dear Friends..You be the judge. Please let me know which one you like most. The heavenly one or the night queen ones..?
