Friends…
Yesterday one of my passengers asked me a very unusual but not very unlikely question..Where do you guys go to bathroom..? I smiled and told her that that was not an unusual question.
Friends…this only shows that the taxi passengers are concerned about us. They think that we are human being. They treat us like human being not a machine. I always told every driver that our passengers are our only friend in this shark feasted New York City roads. They are the reason that we are in business. Read more »

November 17th, 2010
yellowtaxiblog Yes dear friends..I was almost got killed by an agent (probably by a Police Officer). And today was my Birthday. Think about that what would happen if I could not control my car. Curious..? OK.. let me tell you in details.
The day started in a bad note. I had to give back the car to the garage to fix it and when I went to get the car around 5 o’clock in the morning. It was raining lightly and I was wet. I could not find the car for more than an hour as it was parked 5 blocks from the garage. I did not know why it was parked that far but it was..so I lost almost an hour and half from my shift. Please don’t treat your passenger badly.
November 14th, 2010
yellowtaxiblog Today I had a good day. The day started with a JFK airport trip and I waited only for 40 minutes for a return trip and that passenger came to Manhattan. I almost made my lease money by 7 o’ clock in the morning. As the day goes by it only got better. But one thing really spoiled my day because of a very unprofessional yellow cab driver. Let me explain what happened. Read more »
I am so ashamed of myself.
November 10th, 2010
yellowtaxiblog Today I learned that I still have a lot of things to learn. Today I learned a very valuable lesson that no work is easy and small. I am so ashamed of my behavior. I am a very thoughtful person. I do not say anything without giving enough thought. Whenever in a conversation, or in a social gathering or with a passenger I make sure I don’t hurt anyone’s feelings, I rather get hurt than hurt someone. I don’t get angry very easily and even if I become angry normally people will not know it. I always play cool. I always think twice before I open my mouth. But today I hurt someone’s feelings. Today I hurt someone with my words. Today I let my worst came out and I am so ashamed of myself. Let me explain. Read more »

yellowtaxiblog Dear Friends,
What a funny thing happened today. I took a lady to the Bronx. On the way coming back I picked up a passenger from Grand Concourse. It was a very rainy morning so the traffic was bumper to bumper. He wanted to go to Brooklyn Supreme Court and it was a long way. So I started to talk to him. I asked him what he did for living. He told me that he was a doctor. I was impressed by that. He told me that he drove yellow cab for seven years and that’s how he supported his education. Read more »
NYC Transport Commissioner is totally the wrong person for the job.
November 5th, 2010
yellowtaxiblog Dear Friends,
Why did I say that when our ‘beloved’ 3rd term Mayor put his trust on her who am I to disagree with that..? Sure I have no right to criticize her but when her decision affects our lives I think it is my sacred duty to let everyone know about her so that you know what kind of qualification she has to be the Commissioner. Lets see her education which is primarily responsible for making into who we are. Read more »
Stop messing with New York City Roads
November 4th, 2010
yellowtaxiblog Stop messing with New York City’s roads. These roads are not your father’s property that you guys can paint it any way you want. These roads are not the play grounds for the Mayor, Transportation Commissioner and DOT. I repeat the roads are not a playground for you guys and you can not just take any chalk and paint anyway you want.
I will keep writing about the new ways of Traffic systems in New York City. It will be series of posts and I will keep publishing those regularly.
Let me give you an example. Dear Readers you make your own conclusion after reading this post. Read more »
NASA can train the Astronauts in NewYork City roads.
November 3rd, 2010
yellowtaxiblog Dear Friends,
Everyday I drive 12 long hours on the New York City roads. Almost all the roads and Avenues are in bad shape that within one hour of driving my whole body starts to pain. My back hurts and I even hit my head few times on the ceiling of the cab. Take for example Madison Ave, which starts from 23rd St. At around 34th St going uptown there are numerous numbers of digging by Con Ed and Telephone companies made the Ave totally undrivable yet we have to drive on that ave many times a day. This thing is going on God knows how long and it seems to me that there is no one to oversee this. Read more »
